Najarra was already three when she figured out what she was looking for in her life. As a young girl she started modeling along with appearing on local stage. She continued to participate in musicals and theater throughout the remainder of her teens. At ten, she made her debut on the big screen, co-starring in the movie "Menace". Najarra is internationally acclaimed for her performance in "Me and You and Everybody We know" and was awarded the Sundance as well as Cannes awards in 2005. The actress played the lead role in several films including "Tru I Loved" in addition to 'MarinBlue", and "Betty I am".
